Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Palladium Trooper boots last, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in Period: As with most leather boots, wear them for short periods initially to allow the material to flex to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the rubber mudguard with a damp cloth after exposure to mud or salt. Clean the leather upper using a dedicated leather cleaner or soft brush to remove dirt.
- Maintenance: Periodically apply a leather conditioner to keep the material supple and prevent cracking. Re-apply a waterproof spray specifically designed for leather to maintain the water-repellent barrier.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources, which can cause the leather to dry out and the adhesive on the rubber components to fail.
