No, washing suede shoes in a machine will damage the material and structure. Always clean by hand using proper suede care products.
Yes, they feature a D+ width fitting, which is slightly wider than a standard shoe, providing extra room for comfort.
Yes, the Gabor Ferry trainers are designed with removable insoles to make them compatible with your own custom orthotic inserts.
The platform sole provides a 4cm heel height.
Apply a high-quality suede protector spray every few months to create a barrier against water and dirt.
No, the side zip is specifically designed so that you can leave the laces at your desired tension and use the zip for quick entry.
Use a specialized suede brush or cleaning block to gently remove debris and restore the nap.
Rub a small amount of beeswax or a graphite pencil tip along the zip teeth to improve lubrication.
Ensure the insoles are properly seated in the heel cup; if they continue to slip, you may replace them with a thin adhesive grip.
To keep your Gabor Ferry trainers in optimal condition, ensure you apply a suede-specific water repellent spray before their first use to guard against dirt and moisture. When cleaning, use a suede brush to gently lift and remove surface dust and stains. If the shoes get wet, let them air dry naturally away from direct heat sources to prevent the leather from stiffening. Because these shoes feature removable insoles, they are compatible with most standard orthotic inserts if you require additional arch support. Store the shoes in a cool, dry place when not in use to preserve the integrity of the suede.
