Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
Setting up your ASUS ROG Herculx Graphics Card Holder is straightforward:
- Prepare Your PC: Ensure your PC is powered off and unplugged. If your graphics card is already installed, you can proceed.
- Position the Holder: Place the base of the Herculx holder on a flat, stable surface inside your PC case, typically on the PSU shroud or directly on the case floor, underneath the outer edge of your graphics card.
- Adjust Height: Gently extend the support pillar upwards until it makes contact with the underside of your graphics card. Use the fine-tune adjustment knob to apply just enough upward pressure to level the card.
- Check Level: Utilize the integrated spirit level to ensure your graphics card is perfectly horizontal. Make minor adjustments as needed.
- Secure (if applicable): Some models may have locking mechanisms. Ensure the holder is stable and not easily tipped over.
Compatibility
- Graphics Cards: The Herculx is designed for universal compatibility with most graphics cards, including very large and heavy models. Its adjustable height accommodates various GPU sizes.
- PC Cases: Compatibility primarily depends on the internal vertical clearance and available flat surface area within your case. Ensure there's space on your PSU shroud or case floor to position the holder beneath your graphics card.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the holder with a dry or slightly damp, lint-free cloth to remove dust. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- Inspection: Occasionally check the holder for stability and ensure it maintains proper contact with your graphics card. If you've moved your PC, re-verify the adjustment.
