An automatic movement means the watch is powered by the natural motion of your wrist. As you move, an oscillating weight inside the watch winds the mainspring, storing energy. This eliminates the need for a battery, but the watch will stop if not worn for an extended period (typically 40-70 hours).

To set the time, first unscrew the crown by turning it counter-clockwise until it releases. Then, pull the crown out to its furthest position. Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the hour and minute hands. Once set, push the crown back in and screw it down clockwise firmly to re-engage water resistance.

The AR60080 has a 20 ATM (200 meters) water resistance rating, which means it is suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and shallow diving. It is highly water-resistant, but the term 'waterproof' is rarely used in watchmaking. Always ensure the crown is fully screwed down before any water exposure.

For optimal performance, it is recommended to wear your automatic watch daily for at least 8-10 hours. If you wear it less frequently, or for shorter durations, you may need to manually wind it occasionally or use a watch winder.

Super-LumiNova® is a non-radioactive, non-toxic photoluminescent pigment that absorbs light and then glows in the dark. On your AR60080, it's applied to the hands, indexes, and bezel markings to provide excellent visibility and readability in low-light conditions, after being exposed to a light source.

While the watch is water-resistant to 20 ATM, it's generally advised to avoid wearing it in showers, hot tubs, or saunas. The rapid temperature changes and steam can cause the gaskets to expand and contract, potentially compromising the water resistance over time and allowing moisture to enter the case.

Sapphire crystal is extremely durable and highly resistant to scratches, second only to diamond in hardness. This means your watch face is well-protected against everyday abrasions, helping to maintain its clear, pristine appearance over time.

Your automatic watch needs kinetic energy to run. If it has stopped, it likely needs to be wound. Either wear it for several hours to allow your natural wrist movement to power it, or manually wind it by unscrewing the crown, turning it clockwise about 30-40 times, and then screwing the crown back down.

First, ensure the watch is fully wound by wearing it consistently or manually winding it. If accuracy issues persist, the watch may have been exposed to a strong magnetic field. Keep it away from electronics like speakers or magnets. If the problem continues, professional servicing may be required to demagnetize or adjust the movement.

Condensation indicates moisture has entered the watch case, potentially compromising the movement. Immediately pull the crown out (do not screw it back in yet) to allow the moisture to escape, and take the watch to a qualified watchmaker as soon as possible for inspection and repair. Do not attempt to dry it yourself with heat.
