FAQs

Are these shorts suitable for all-day wear?

Yes, the stretchy material and breathable design are specifically intended to be comfortable enough for daily use.

Will these show under tight-fitting dresses?

No, the no-waistband construction is specifically designed to provide a smooth transition and eliminate visible panty lines.

How do I maintain the shape of the lace?

Always hand-wash and lay flat to dry; avoid wringing the lace, as this can permanently stretch or distort the floral pattern.

What material are these made of?

The shorts are made from a high-quality linen and lace blend for a balance of durability and feminine appeal.

Do these come in different sizes?

Yes, they are available in various sizes ranging from UK 8 to UK 22 to accommodate different body types.

Can I put these in the dryer?

No, heat from a dryer will damage the elasticity of the lace and potentially shrink the material.

Troubleshooting

Visible lines under thin clothing

Ensure the shorts are pulled completely flat against the skin; the no-waistband design relies on proper placement to remain invisible.

Lace snagging during storage

Store the shorts in a dedicated lingerie bag or a separate fabric drawer to avoid contact with hooks, zippers, or jewelry.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Smooth, no-waistband construction prevents visible panty lines.
Highly stretchy material ensures comfort throughout the day.
Elegant floral lace pattern offers a sophisticated aesthetic.
Practical enough for extended wear while remaining visually appealing.

Cons

Delicate lace material requires gentle handling during cleaning.
Sheer fabric may be too revealing for those who prefer full opacity.
Hand wash recommended to preserve the integrity of the floral lace pattern.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your Lovehoney Flirty Lace Shorts, it is essential to follow specific care protocols. Due to the delicate nature of the floral lace, machine washing is strongly discouraged, as the agitation can snag the fabric or damage the scalloped edges. Instead, opt for hand-washing in cool water with a mild, lingerie-safe detergent. Gently squeeze out excess water without wringing the fabric, and lay the garment flat to dry away from direct heat sources to prevent the material from losing its elasticity. Store in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture buildup within the lace fibers.
