This Nike Tech Fleece Full Zip Windrunner Hooded Jacket is designed for adult males seeking a blend of iconic style and comfortable warmth. Its key benefit is the smooth, warm fleece combined with a relaxed, athletic fit for unrestricted movement. A potential caveat is that the sizing may run differently based on region, as indicated by 'Asia Sizing' in some variants. Tech Fleece is a lightweight, warm material developed by Nike that combines a smooth face with a textured interior, offering excellent insulation without added weight.
It is recommended to consult Nike's official sizing chart available on their website or product pages. Pay attention to any mentions of regional sizing like 'Asia Sizing' as they may fit differently.
The jacket offers some protection against light wind and drizzle due to its hood and fleece material, but it is not waterproof. It is best suited for dry, cool to cold conditions or as a warm layer under waterproof outer gear.
Machine wash cold with like colors. It's best to wash and dry the jacket inside out on a low setting to preserve the fabric's texture and color. Avoid high heat and harsh detergents.
The Windrunner is a classic Nike jacket design characterized by its 26-degree chevron pattern on the chest, which originated in 1978.
Yes, the jacket features zippered pockets for secure storage of small items and to keep hands warm.
The jacket's relaxed fit and breathable fleece make it comfortable for light activities or as post-workout wear. For intense athletic performance, Nike offers more specialized athletic apparel.
Ensure the fabric is not caught in the zipper. Gently try to move the zipper up and down. Applying a small amount of graphite pencil lead or wax to the teeth can help smooth operation.
Pilling can occur with fleece over time. Follow care instructions strictly, washing inside out and avoiding high heat drying. Use a fabric shaver for minor pilling.
Refer to Nike's official size charts for accurate measurements. Note that some variants mention 'Asia Sizing', which may differ from standard US or European sizing. Consider ordering a size up if unsure or if a looser fit is desired.
