Designed for adults who value a blend of vintage aesthetic and modern functionality, the adidas Retro Runner Style Trainers provide reliable comfort for an active, everyday lifestyle. Featuring high-quality leather construction and a secure lace-up closure, these trainers are built to provide consistent support throughout the day; however, users should note that the retro-inspired sole design may offer less aggressive traction compared to specialized high-performance trail footwear.

These trainers are designed for casual, everyday activity. While comfortable for walking and light use, they lack the specialized motion-control technology found in technical long-distance running shoes.
The trainers come in standard UK adult sizing. It is recommended to try them on with the type of socks you intend to wear daily to ensure the leather provides a comfortable, secure fit.
While the leather is durable, it is not fully waterproof. It is best to treat the trainers with a leather-safe water repellent spray if you expect to encounter light damp conditions.
Use a gentle soap solution and a soft sponge to wipe the rubber midsole, avoiding the leather parts to prevent staining.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the leather from fading or drying out.
Use cedar shoe trees when not in use to maintain the shape of the trainer and reduce deep creasing.
Replace standard laces with textured athletic laces or use a double-knot technique for a more secure hold.
Use a specialized leather cleaner applied to a soft brush, working in gentle circular motions.
Getting the best from your adidas trainers requires proper initial fit and ongoing maintenance. Ensure the laces are tightened firmly but comfortably across the arch to secure the foot within the leather frame. For longevity, wipe the leather surfaces with a clean, damp cloth to remove surface dirt and debris after use. Avoid submerging the shoes in water or using harsh industrial cleaners, which can compromise the leather's finish. If the shoes become damp, allow them to air-dry at room temperature away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the leather from cracking or stiffening. Consider using a leather conditioner every few months to maintain the material's suppleness.
