Product Information
Full details
The Saucony Hurricane 26 is an ideal choice for female runners and walkers who prioritize consistent, plush cushioning and long-term foot protection during daily activity. Featuring the innovative incrediLUX foam, this shoe maintains structural integrity under load to prevent the "bottoming out" sensation common in traditional midsoles, though users looking for a firm, responsive racing shoe may find the soft profile less suited for high-speed interval training.

FAQs
Is the Hurricane 26 suitable for daily walking?
Yes, the high level of comfort and impact protection makes it an excellent choice for walking.
What is the primary benefit of the incrediLUX foam?
It resists bottoming out, meaning it keeps its plush, supportive feel even after miles of pressure.
Are these shoes machine washable?
No, it is recommended to clean them by hand to preserve the integrity of the foam and the structure of the mesh.
Is this model better for wide or narrow feet?
The upper is constructed with a breathable, conforming mesh that adapts well to various foot shapes, though it is standard width.
Can I use these for gym workouts?
They are ideal for cardio-based gym workouts, though for heavy weightlifting, you may prefer a flatter, firmer shoe.
How long will the outsole last?
The XT-900 carbon rubber is highly durable, designed to withstand standard road wear for several hundred miles depending on your gait and terrain.
Troubleshooting
Foot slipping inside the shoe
Try the 'runner's loop' lacing technique to secure the heel more effectively and tighten the midfoot laces.
Outsole debris accumulation
Use a soft brush to remove small pebbles or dirt from the XT-900 rubber grooves to maintain maximum traction.
Pros and Cons

- Limited to neutral-toned aesthetic options
- May feel too soft for those who prefer firm ground feedback
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best performance from your Saucony Hurricane 26:
- Sizing: These shoes are true to standard UK sizes. Ensure your toes have about a thumb's width of space to account for natural foot swelling during activity.
- Break-in: While the comfort mesh upper feels plush immediately, allow for a few short sessions to let the foam conform to your specific foot shape.
- Cleaning: Hand wash the mesh upper using mild soap and a soft brush. Avoid putting these shoes in the washing machine or dryer, as high heat can degrade the cushioning foam.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the upper materials from fading and the rubber from drying out.
