Setup, Compatibility & Care
Proper application and storage are key to maximizing your Versace Eros Eau de Toilette experience and preserving its quality.
Application:
- Prepare Skin: For best results, apply to clean, dry, and preferably moisturized skin.
- Locate Pulse Points: Identify pulse points like your wrists, neck, behind the ears, and inner elbows.
- Spray from a Distance: Hold the bottle about 6-8 inches (15-20 cm) away from your skin.
- Spray Once or Twice: For an Eau de Toilette, one to two sprays per pulse point is usually sufficient. Avoid overspraying.
- Allow to Air Dry: Let the fragrance dry naturally on your skin; do not rub it in.
Compatibility:
- Layering: While Eros is a complete scent on its own, it can be complemented by using unscented body lotions or deodorants to avoid clashing fragrances. If you wish to layer, consider the Versace Eros Comfort After Shave Balm or Versace Eros Shower Gel.
- Skin Chemistry: Be aware that individual skin chemistry can affect how a fragrance smells and lasts. What smells great on one person might be slightly different on another.
Care & Storage:
- Store in a Cool, Dark Place: Keep your fragrance away from direct sunlight, extreme heat, and humidity. These elements can degrade the scent and shorten its lifespan.
- Original Packaging: Storing the bottle in its original box can provide an extra layer of protection from light and temperature fluctuations.
- Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Do not store in bathrooms where temperature and humidity fluctuate significantly. A drawer or closet in a bedroom is ideal.
- Keep Upright: Always store the bottle upright to prevent leaks and maintain the integrity of the spray mechanism.
- Keep Lid On: Ensure the cap is securely replaced after each use to prevent evaporation and oxidation.
