Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your HOKA Challenger 8, focus on proper cleaning and maintenance. After hiking in muddy or wet conditions, remove the insoles and allow the shoes to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can degrade the adhesive and foam. Use a soft brush to remove dried mud from the outsole lugs to maintain traction. To maintain the effectiveness of the waterproof membrane, periodically clean the exterior with a damp cloth; avoid machine washing or using harsh chemical detergents, as these can compromise the waterproof properties and structural integrity of the upper.
