The Eleanor Swing Dress is crafted from 100% polyester, known for its durability and silky, plisse texture.
We recommend a delicate cycle in a mesh laundry bag or hand washing to protect the permanent pleats of the plisse fabric.
The plisse fabric provides a natural give, but the dress is primarily designed with a loose swing silhouette for comfort.
Hang the dress on a padded hanger to maintain the shape of the shoulders and the integrity of the pleated texture.
Yes, the zip at the neckline is functional and can be adjusted to change the look of the bodice.
The swing silhouette looks particularly well-styled with knee-high boots, though it can also be paired with ankle boots or elegant flats.
Avoid heavy ironing; gently steam from a distance and hang correctly to restore the natural drape of the plisse.
Store the dress in a garment bag to protect the delicate texture from jewelry or sharp objects in your closet.
To ensure the longevity of your Eleanor dress, it is essential to follow specific care instructions. Due to the delicate nature of the plisse fabric, it is recommended to hand wash or use a gentle cycle with a delicate detergent. Avoid ironing the pleated material directly, as this can flatten the texture; instead, use a handheld steamer from a safe distance if necessary. The dress is best stored by hanging it in a cool, dry place to prevent the pleats from being crushed.
