Yes, the flat heel design is intended for everyday comfort, making them suitable for moderate walking in urban environments.
While you can wear them without socks, we recommend using hidden liner socks to absorb moisture and protect the leather interior.
Use a soft-bristled brush to remove any dust or debris from the fringe and tassel areas, taking care not to pull on the leather components.
The Paolina range follows standard UK sizing. If you are between sizes, we recommend testing the larger size for the most comfortable fit.
While genuine leather is durable, it is not fully waterproof. It is recommended to use a leather-appropriate water repellent spray if you plan to wear them in damp conditions.
Leather will naturally soften and stretch slightly with wear. Try wearing them with slightly thinner socks for a few hours at home to break them in.
Gently clean the affected area with a soft, damp cloth and apply a small amount of black leather polish to buff out the mark.
Because these are leather shoes, initial wear should be limited to short periods to allow the material to naturally contour to the shape of your feet. To maintain the quality of the leather, use a high-quality leather cream or polish to keep the material supple and prevent cracking. Store the shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use, and consider using shoe trees to help them retain their structural integrity. Since they are a standard fit, they are compatible with standard-width socks or can be worn without socks for a classic moccasin aesthetic.
