While you can use standard bags, for the best fit and to prevent the bag from slipping into the bin, we recommend using Brabantia-specific liners.
Wipe the exterior with a damp, non-abrasive cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the black finish.
No, the components are not dishwasher safe. Hand washing with a damp cloth is the recommended cleaning method.
The bin is designed for high-capacity use; please ensure you measure your intended space to confirm it fits comfortably under counters or within your kitchen footprint.
No, the lid is specifically designed for the 60L model to ensure a proper seal and functional operation.
Check the hinge mechanism for debris or obstructions that might be preventing a full closure and ensure the bin liner is not interfering with the latch.
Clean the hinge area of any dust or residue, and ensure no pressure is being applied to the top of the lid while the bin is in the closed position.
Setting up the Brabantia 60 Litre Touch Bin is straightforward: simply remove the packaging, check that the non-slip base is positioned correctly on a level surface, and attach your chosen bin liner. To ensure longevity, use compatible bin liners that fit the rim securely to avoid slippage inside the bin. For cleaning, the removable lid unit allows you to wipe down the internal barrel with a standard antibacterial cleaner and a damp cloth. The exterior black surface should be wiped with a soft, microfiber cloth to maintain its finish and avoid abrasive cleaning pads that could cause micro-scratches on the matte coating.
