FAQs

Is this jacket suitable for heavy winter snow?

It provides warmth for cool conditions, but for extreme winter, you may need to layer additional thermal clothing underneath.

Can I tumble dry this jacket?

It is generally recommended to air dry to protect the waterproof finish, though you should check the care label inside the garment for specific manufacturer instructions.

What is the material composition?

The jacket is primarily made from durable, weather-resistant polyester.

How do I secure my valuables?

There is a dedicated inner pocket inside the jacket for securing items like phones or keys.

Does the hood detach?

No, this jacket features a 'grown-on' hood, meaning it is permanently attached to the collar.

Is the jacket machine washable?

Yes, but use a gentle cycle with mild detergent and avoid fabric softeners to maintain the fabric's integrity.

Troubleshooting

Water begins to soak into the outer shell instead of beading off

The Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating may have worn off; consider using a technical garment re-proofing spray.

The hood feels too loose in windy conditions

Adjust the cord ties located at the front of the hood to pull it closer to the face for a secure fit.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Lightweight construction reduces fatigue during long wear
Effective insulation provided by the quilted lining
Practical hood adjustments allow for a secure, personalized fit
Soft-touch material is comfortable against the skin and during movement
Multiple storage options including a secure inner pocket

Cons

May be too warm for mild or high-activity conditions
Requires careful cleaning to maintain the waterproof coating
Limited to specific color palettes

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your jacket continues to perform at its best, follow these care guidelines:

Cleaning: Machine wash on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can strip the waterproof coating.
Drying: Air dry whenever possible by hanging the jacket on a sturdy hanger in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid compressing the jacket under heavy items for long periods to preserve the loft of the quilted insulation.
Compatibility: The jacket is designed with a standard cut that fits well over typical casual wear. For best results, pair with moisture-wicking base layers to keep the interior dry during extended outdoor use.
