Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Wall Preparation: Ensure the walls are clean, dry, and smooth. Remove any existing wallpaper, and fill any holes or cracks.
- Priming: Apply a wallpaper primer to the walls. This will help with adhesion and make the removal of the wallpaper easier later.
- Cutting: Measure and cut the wallpaper strips, leaving extra at the top and bottom for trimming.
- Pasting: Apply wallpaper paste directly to the wall, covering an area slightly wider than the first strip.
- Hanging: Apply the wallpaper to the wall, aligning the edges and smoothing out any air bubbles with a smoothing tool.
- Trimming: Trim excess wallpaper at the top and bottom with a sharp blade.
Compatibility
This wallpaper is compatible with most standard wall surfaces. It is not recommended for use on walls with excessive moisture or mold.
Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the wallpaper gently with a damp cloth to remove any marks or stains.
- Avoid Abrasives: Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrub brushes, as these may damage the surface.
- Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation during and after installation to aid drying.
