No, the hood on the Verith model is integrated into the jacket design for a consistent silhouette.
No, the manufacturer strongly recommends professional dry cleaning only to maintain the quality of the nylon and down fill.
The nylon technique material offers some protection against light moisture, but it is not a fully waterproof rain jacket.
Store in a cool, dry place inside a breathable garment bag, ensuring the jacket is not compressed tightly to preserve the loft of the down.
The Verith is designed with a modern, streamlined silhouette; if you prefer layering thick sweaters underneath, you may consider checking the measurements for your specific size.
This is common with down garments; gently pull the feather back into the jacket from the inside rather than pulling it out completely.
Do not iron the nylon directly. A professional steamer can be used at a low setting, but professional maintenance is highly recommended.
To ensure the longevity of your Moncler Verith jacket, always check the interior garment label for specific care instructions. Because of the down filling and nylon exterior, this garment is strictly for professional dry cleaning to avoid clumping the insulation or damaging the technical finish of the fabric. Store the jacket in a breathable garment bag when not in use for extended periods, and avoid exposing it to direct, high-heat sources like radiators, which may degrade the nylon material.
