Full details
The Nike Dri Fit Academy 23 Shorts are designed for adult male athletes seeking high-performance training wear. Their key benefit is keeping you cool, dry, and comfortable during intense workouts thanks to advanced sweat-wicking technology. A potential caveat is that their lightweight design might not offer the same level of durability for extremely rugged use compared to heavier materials. These shorts blend Nike's signature style with functional features, including moisture-wicking Dri-FIT technology, a lightweight build for unrestricted movement, and an adjustable waistband for a secure fit.

FAQs
What is the primary benefit of the Dri-FIT technology?
The Dri-FIT technology is designed to wick sweat away from your skin, helping you stay dry, cool, and comfortable during physical activity.
Are these shorts suitable for all types of sports?
Yes, they are suitable for a wide range of sports and training activities due to their lightweight, breathable, and flexible design. However, for sports involving extreme abrasion, heavier-duty shorts might be considered.
How do I adjust the waistband?
The shorts feature an elastic waistband with an adjustable drawstring. You can pull the drawstring tighter to secure the fit or loosen it as needed.
What material are the shorts made of?
The Nike Dri Fit Academy 23 Shorts are made from 100% polyester, featuring a supple knit material and breathable mesh side panels.
Can I wear these for casual running?
Absolutely. Their lightweight design and moisture-wicking properties make them comfortable for casual running and other forms of exercise.
How should I wash these shorts?
Machine wash cold with like colors, use non-chlorine bleach if needed, and tumble dry on low. Avoid ironing and dry cleaning.
What is the fit like?
These shorts offer a lightweight and non-restrictive fit, designed for optimal movement. The adjustable waistband allows for a personalized fit.
Troubleshooting
Shorts feel tight or restrictive
Ensure the adjustable waistband is loosened sufficiently. Check if the size selected is appropriate for your measurements.
Moisture-wicking not effective
Ensure the garment is clean; fabric softener can impede Dri-FIT performance. Wash according to care instructions with a mild detergent.
Waistband elastic feels loose
While the drawstring provides adjustability, if the elastic itself has lost significant tension over time, it may require replacement by a professional or consideration for a new pair.
