FAQs

Is this top suitable for cold weather training?

It is a lightweight layer. It is perfect for mild to cool conditions or as a base layer under a jacket in colder weather.

Does the material shrink?

The garment is made from polyester, which is resistant to shrinking, provided you follow the cold-water wash and low-heat dry instructions.

What does the 'S' size represent?

This is a standard small size designed for children's apparel.

Are the thumbholes restrictive?

No, they are designed to be low-profile and flexible to allow for full range of motion during athletic activities.

Can I iron this product?

It is recommended to avoid ironing, as high heat can damage the synthetic moisture-wicking fibers.

Troubleshooting

Fabric snagging

Avoid contact with rough surfaces, velcro, or sharp objects that can pull the textured knit threads.

Persistent odor after washing

Ensure the garment is not being washed with fabric softener, which traps odors; try using a specialized sports detergent designed for synthetic fabrics.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Lightweight and breathable construction
Effective moisture management for intense training
Versatile layering with quarter-zip neckline
Thumbholes prevent sleeve shifting
Odor control technology reduces post-workout scents

Cons

Trim athletic fit may run small for some users
Material is lightweight and may provide limited warmth in extreme cold
Requires careful washing to maintain synthetic fabric integrity

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of the performance fabric, it is recommended to wash the garment in cold water with similar colors. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can break down the moisture-wicking and odor-control treatments embedded in the polyester knit. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry for the best results to prevent any heat damage to the synthetic fibers. The garment pairs well with other Under Armour compression or training gear, functioning effectively as a mid-layer or a standalone training top.
