Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your HOKA Mafate Hike, proper care is essential. Before your first hike, ensure the fit is snug but allows enough room for toe splay, especially during downhill segments. After trekking in muddy or dusty conditions, remove the insoles and gently clean the exterior with a soft brush and lukewarm water. Avoid machine washing or using harsh chemical detergents, as these can compromise the hydrophobic treatment on the upper. Allow the shoes to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators or direct sunlight, which can deform the midsole foam.
