Product Information

Full details

This Karen Millen maxi skirt is designed for women seeking sophisticated drama for formal occasions. Its key benefit is the voluminous, architectural silhouette created by structured pleating, offering a flattering high-waisted fit. A potential caveat is its substantial fabric weight, which may be more suited to cooler events or climates. This fully lined, ankle-grazing skirt is crafted from a woven twill fabric, emphasizing elegant structure and drape.

FAQs

What occasions is this maxi skirt suitable for?

This skirt is ideal for formal events such as weddings, galas, formal dinners, and graduation ceremonies due to its dramatic silhouette and sophisticated design.

How should I style this skirt for a modern look?

For a contemporary ensemble, pair the skirt with a coordinating crop top and statement heels.

What type of shoes work best with this skirt?

The ankle-grazing length is designed to showcase footwear, making heels, elegant sandals, or pointed-toe shoes the ideal choice.

Can I wear this skirt in warmer weather?

While the substantial fabric offers elegant drape, it might be warmer for very hot climates. It is best suited for cooler evenings, transitional seasons, or indoor events.

How do I care for the wool fabric?

The skirt is made of wool and requires dry cleaning only to maintain its shape and quality. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

Does the skirt come fully lined?

Yes, the skirt is fully lined for comfort and to ensure an optimal drape.

Troubleshooting

Skirt appears creased after storage

Hang the skirt and allow it to naturally de-crease. If needed, use a steamer on a low setting or dry clean for professional pressing.

The pleats are losing their sharpness

Ensure the skirt is dry cleaned and pressed correctly. Avoid folding for long-term storage; hang it instead.

Fabric feels too heavy for the occasion

Consider styling with lighter fabrics for tops and accessories. For very warm weather, this skirt might be better suited for evening events or cooler seasons.
