Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
- Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, and relatively level. Minor imperfections can be accommodated, but significant unevenness should be addressed.
- Begin laying tiles from a corner or along a straight edge.
- Align the interlocking edges and firmly press or tap the tiles together until they snap securely into place. A rubber mallet can be useful for ensuring a tight fit.
- Cut tiles as needed for edges or around obstacles using appropriate tools (e.g., a jigsaw or heavy-duty utility knife).
Compatibility:
These tiles are compatible with most standard concrete, asphalt, and sturdy subflooring. They are designed for use in areas with heavy foot traffic, vehicle parking, and potential chemical exposure.
Care:
- Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove loose debris.
- For deeper cleaning, use a mild detergent and water with a mop or brush. Avoid harsh abrasive cleaners.
- The self-draining channels help manage liquids; ensure they are not obstructed.
- Most common automotive fluids and chemicals can be wiped away easily. For stubborn stains, use a specialized cleaner suitable for plastic flooring, testing in an inconspicuous area first.
