FAQs

Are these sandals waterproof?

They are water-friendly and designed to be worn in and around water, but they should be rinsed and dried properly after salt or pool water exposure.

Can these be machine washed?

It is recommended to hand wash them to preserve the durability of the materials and the adhesive strength of the straps.

Is the toe bumper flexible?

The toe bumper is designed to be firm enough to provide protection against impacts while remaining comfortable for the wearer.

Does this model come in other sizes?

This specific listing is for the UK 9 size variant. Please check availability for other sizes within the Trespass Shea range.

Are these suitable for long hikes?

They are ideal for walks and light hikes, though for intensive, long-distance trekking, a full-coverage hiking boot may be more appropriate.

Troubleshooting

Straps feel loose during activity

Re-adjust the hook-and-loop closure to ensure a tighter fit and verify that no debris like sand or twigs is stuck in the fastener.

Foot slipping inside the sandal

Ensure the foot is centered on the footbed and that the strap is tightened across the instep.

Pros and Cons

Requires manual adjustment of straps for proper fit.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the best performance from your Trespass Shea sandals, follow these guidelines:

Fitting: When putting the sandals on, ensure the child is standing to distribute their weight properly before fastening the straps. Tighten the straps until the sandal is secure but not pinching the skin.
Cleaning: Hand wash the sandals using mild soap and lukewarm water. Avoid using harsh detergents or bleach, as these can compromise the material integrity.
Drying: Air dry the sandals in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Do not place them directly on radiators or in direct sunlight, as excessive heat can cause the material to warp or the adhesives to weaken.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods to maintain the longevity of the straps and outsole grip.
