Setup, Compatibility & Care
Proper care is essential to maintain the integrity of your Valentino Garavani footwear:
- Initial Setup: When removing your shoes from the box, ensure the straps are adjusted to your preference before initial wear to avoid unnecessary tension on the leather.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust from the leather. For the brass studs, avoid harsh chemical cleaners which may strip the antique-effect finish; a simple microfiber cloth is usually sufficient.
- Storage: Always use the provided dust bag when storing the shoes in the box. This prevents surface scratches from the studs and protects the leather from light exposure.
- Care: Avoid extended contact with water or oil. If the leather gets wet, pat it dry immediately with a clean, lint-free cloth and let it air dry naturally away from direct heat sources.
