Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Installation: Ensure the tyre is correctly mounted on the wheel rim, using tyre levers if necessary. Check the tyre direction, indicated by an arrow on the sidewall, ensuring it matches the rolling direction.
- Inflation: Inflate the tyre to the recommended pressure indicated on the tyre sidewall. Use a reliable pump with a pressure gauge to ensure accuracy. Proper inflation is crucial for performance and puncture resistance.
Compatibility:
- Bike Types: Compatible with a wide range of bikes and e-bikes, particularly those with 16x1.35 inch wheels.
- Rim Compatibility: Ensure the tyre size (16x1.35) matches your rim size.
Care:
- Regular Inspection: Inspect the tyres regularly for cuts, embedded objects, or wear and tear.
- Pressure Checks: Check the tyre pressure before each ride. Maintaining the correct pressure significantly prolongs tyre life and reduces the risk of punctures.
- Cleaning: Clean the tyres with mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the rubber.
- Storage: Store the tyres in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
