The Maxxis Dissector is a versatile mountain bike tyre designed in collaboration with professional DH racer Troy Brosnan, specifically engineered for riders who prioritize minimizing rolling resistance without sacrificing essential cornering traction. It is an excellent choice for dry, hard, or loose-over-hard trail conditions; however, its specialized tread design may offer less mud-shedding capability compared to dedicated wet-weather tyres.

Yes, while the tyre is Tubeless Ready, you can still install it with a standard inner tube if preferred.
The WT construction is optimized for rims with an inner width of 30-35mm.
Depending on the climate and frequency of use, it is generally recommended to check and refresh your sealant every 3-6 months.
It is best suited for dry, hard, or loose-over-hard trails. It is not designed as a primary mud-clearing tyre.
EXO is a cut- and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls to increase durability without significantly adding weight.
Yes, the Dissector is highly versatile and can be used on the front, rear, or as a pair depending on your trail conditions.
Ensure the bead is seated in the deepest center channel of the rim and use a high-volume pump or compressor to provide a quick burst of air.
Check for minor punctures or sidewall cuts; if persistent, re-examine the tubeless tape application on your rim bed.
Verify your inner rim width; if it is outside the 30-35mm range, you may need to adjust your tyre pressure slightly up or down to find the optimal support.
To set up your Maxxis Dissector, ensure your rim is compatible with tubeless tape and valves. Because this is a Tubeless Ready (TR) tyre, use a high-quality liquid tyre sealant to ensure an airtight seal at the bead. When installing, start opposite the valve and work the beads into the center channel of the rim to make fitting easier. Periodically check the sidewalls for wear or abrasions, especially if you frequently ride in rocky terrain. Always ensure you do not exceed the maximum inflation pressure of 50 PSI to avoid potential rim or bead damage.
