The Nike Air Rift Trainers are designed for adult women who appreciate a unique blend of heritage athletic style and experimental design. Originally released in 1996, these trainers are perfect for those seeking a lightweight, foot-hugging fit inspired by the principles of barefoot running, though the signature split-toe design may require a brief adjustment period for first-time wearers.

Yes, to wear socks comfortably with the Nike Air Rift, you should use tabi or split-toe socks.
While inspired by barefoot running, these are primarily categorized as lifestyle trainers and are best for casual, low-impact wear.
Use a soft brush or cloth with a mild soap solution and gently wipe the affected areas. Always air dry.
The straps are integrated into the design. If they become damaged, consult a professional shoe repair service.
Most users find them true to size, but the adjustable straps allow for a more forgiving fit if you are between sizes.
Re-adjust the hook-and-loop closure ensuring the material is pulled taut before securing the tab.
Ensure you are wearing appropriate split-toe socks or allow your feet time to acclimate to the design, as the sensation is different from standard shoes.
Getting the right fit starts with adjusting the midfoot and heel straps to match your foot's volume. Since these feature a split-toe, you may need to wear tabi-style socks if you prefer socks. To maintain the trainers, spot clean the textile upper with a mild detergent and a soft cloth; avoid putting them in the washing machine to prevent damage to the adhesive or structural components. Allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources to preserve the integrity of the rubber outsole.
