Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To install the jute netting, first erect sturdy support structures such as posts, stakes, or a trellis system. Attach the netting to these supports using plant ties, garden twine, or staples, ensuring it is taut but not overstretched. For taller plants, consider multiple layers or overlap sections. Ensure the netting is secured at the top and bottom to provide maximum stability.
Compatibility: This netting is compatible with a wide variety of climbing plants including, but not limited to, peas, beans (runner beans, french beans), cucumbers, tomatoes, and flowering vines. It is also suitable for supporting long-stemmed flowers. It can be used on garden trellises, fences, or free-standing frames.
Care: Jute netting is a natural, biodegradable material designed to last for one to two growing seasons. No special care is required during the growing season. After the harvest, the netting can be left to naturally decompose or can be removed and composted. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as this will degrade the natural fibers prematurely.
