FAQs

Are the New Balance 9060 true to size?

Yes, they generally fit true to standard adult sizing, though the padded collar provides a snug, secure fit.

Can these be used for heavy running?

These are primarily designed as lifestyle trainers; for intensive distance running, dedicated performance models are recommended.

How do I maintain the grey suede?

Keep them dry and use a suede-specific brush to remove dust regularly.

Do these shoes offer arch support?

The sculpted midsole and ABZORB technology provide a supportive base suitable for everyday activities.

Are they unisex?

Yes, the 9060 series is designed to be worn by anyone, regardless of gender.

Troubleshooting

Shoes feel too tight across the midfoot

Loosen the laces starting from the bottom eyelets to allow for more volume across the instep.

Stains appearing on suede

Use a specialized suede eraser or a soft-bristled brush to gently work out the stain; avoid liquid cleaners.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent underfoot comfort due to dual cushioning systems
Durable rubber outsole provides reliable grip on various surfaces
Secure lace-up closure ensures a customizable and stable fit
Eye-catching design that stands out in casual settings

Cons

Bulky aesthetic might not suit those who prefer slim silhouettes
Suede material requires careful maintenance to stay clean
Complex design features can be harder to wipe down than simple leather shoes

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your 9060s remain in optimal condition, treat the suede material with a protective water-repellent spray before initial wear. To clean, use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove surface dirt from the suede panels. Avoid submerging the shoes in water or using harsh detergents. For the rubber outsole, a damp cloth with mild soap is sufficient to restore grip and appearance. Ensure the lace-up closure is adjusted to your preferred tension each time you put them on to maintain the integrity of the heel collar padding.
