FAQs
What size mattress do I need?
This bed is designed for a standard 160 x 200 cm mattress.
How much weight can the bed support?
The bed frame is constructed to hold a total weight capacity of 300 kg.
Does the storage area sit directly on the floor?
The Moissac model features a base that protects your stored items from the floor surface.
Is the fabric easy to clean?
The fabric is durable, but regular maintenance with a vacuum cleaner is recommended. Spot clean spills immediately with a damp cloth.
Can I assemble this by myself?
While technically possible, we highly recommend two people to assist with aligning the frame and attaching the heavy lift mechanism.
Troubleshooting
Storage mechanism feels stiff or hard to lift
Ensure the mattress is positioned correctly on the frame, as the weight of the mattress acts as a counterbalance for the gas-lift mechanism.
Bed frame feels wobbly after assembly
Check all bolts and fittings to ensure they are fully tightened. Retightening after the first week of use is recommended as the materials settle.
Squeaking sounds from the base
Check that the slats are correctly seated in their plastic caps and that no frame parts are rubbing against each other.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Assembly: The bed arrives as a flat-pack unit and requires full assembly. It is recommended to have two people present to handle the larger frame components and the lifting mechanism. Ensure you have a clear workspace and standard household tools.
Compatibility: This frame is designed specifically for a 160 x 200 cm mattress. Ensure your current mattress meets these dimensions for proper fitment.
Care Instructions: Keep the fabric looking new by vacuuming it periodically with a soft brush attachment. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, absorbent cloth—avoid aggressive rubbing. The pine wood legs can be wiped down with a damp cloth and dried immediately to maintain their finish.
