Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Saucony Endorphin Speed 5 trainers, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Break-in Period: If you are new to plated running shoes, start with shorter runs to allow your feet and lower legs to adapt to the torsional rigidity of the plate.
- Cleaning: Use a soft brush or a damp cloth with mild soap to spot-clean the nylon upper. Avoid submerging the shoes or machine washing, as heat can damage the foam cushioning.
- Drying: Air dry the shoes away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can warp the materials and degrade the adhesive bonding.
- Rotation: Allow the midsole foam to fully decompress by rotating these trainers with another pair of running shoes, especially after long, high-impact sessions.
