Full details
The Comfort Winslow Divan Base is an ideal choice for sleepers seeking a stable, platform-top foundation that enhances mattress longevity through consistent support. Handcrafted in the UK, this king-sized set includes a stylish 54-inch chesterfield headboard, making it a perfect upgrade for those who want a blend of classic design and modern durability. While it provides excellent structural integrity, users should note that the two-piece king-sized construction requires careful maneuvering in smaller bedrooms or narrow staircases during the initial setup.

FAQs
Does this divan base come with storage drawers?
No, this specific model is a non-storage divan base, designed for a clean, minimalist profile.
Is the headboard adjustable in height?
The headboard is a 54-inch floor-standing model, which provides a fixed, sturdy height that is not height-adjustable.
Can I use this with any mattress?
Yes, the platform-top design is compatible with pocket-sprung, memory foam, and hybrid mattresses.
What tools do I need for assembly?
The set includes pre-fitted clips and necessary fixings; you may only need a basic screwdriver for the headboard attachment.
Is the fabric easy to clean?
For routine maintenance, regular vacuuming is recommended. For spot cleaning, use a light, damp cloth with a gentle fabric cleaner.
Does it arrive in one piece?
The King size base arrives in two separate pieces to ensure it can fit through standard door frames and hallways.
Troubleshooting
The bed feels unstable or wobbly.
Ensure the two base sections are tightly secured with the provided metal clips and check that all gliders are making even contact with the floor.
The headboard is loose.
Re-tighten the bolts connecting the headboard to the base and ensure it is positioned firmly against the wall.
Difficult to move the base on carpet.
The chrome gliders are designed for movement, but on high-pile carpet, you may need a second person to lift slightly while sliding to avoid snagging the fabric.
