FAQs

Does this ornament require batteries?

No, it is entirely solar-powered using an integrated battery that charges via sunlight.

Can I leave this out in the rain?

Yes, the product is built to resist outdoor conditions and general wear and tear.

How long will the light stay on at night?

Runtime depends on how much sunlight the unit received during the day; typically, it will glow for several hours after dusk.

Does it have an on/off switch?

The light is designed to turn on automatically when the light sensor detects darkness.

What are the exact dimensions?

The statue is 31cm high, 36cm wide, and 18cm deep.

Troubleshooting

The light does not turn on at night

Ensure the solar panel is clean and that the unit was placed in a spot that received adequate direct sunlight during the day.

The light is very dim or flickers

Check if the unit is being blocked by a shadow or if the weather has been overcast for several days, which prevents a full charge.

Pros and Cons

Pros

No external wiring or batteries required
Weather-resistant construction for longevity
Automatic dusk-to-dawn lighting feature
Fun, unique aesthetic for animal lovers

Cons

Light output is decorative rather than functional
Performance is limited by the amount of direct daily sunlight
Cannot be used in shaded areas for optimal brightness

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup is straightforward: remove the item from the packaging and place it in your desired outdoor location. Ensure the solar panel is not obscured by overhanging plants or shadows.

For care, periodically wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust or debris, as a dirty panel will reduce the light's ability to charge. During extreme winter conditions or prolonged periods of no sunlight, it is recommended to move the statue into a sheltered area or garage to preserve the internal battery life and material finish.
