Troubleshooting
Zipper feels stiff or difficult to close
Clear any debris or fabric snagged in the zipper teeth and rub a small amount of paraffin wax or a graphite pencil tip along the track to improve movement.
Bag does not slide easily over trolley handle
Ensure the bag is centered on the trolley handle and that the handle is fully retracted to its widest setting to allow for a smooth fit.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Perfectly sized for strict airline underseat requirements
- Lightweight design weighing only 0.9kg
- Includes a dedicated padded laptop sleeve for added protection
- Smart trolley strap makes navigating airports with multiple bags easier
- Hidden back pocket provides extra security for passports and wallets
Cons
- 30-litre capacity may be too small for multi-week travel
- Polyester material is water-resistant but not fully waterproof
- Limited organizational mesh pockets compared to specialized tech backpacks
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To keep your Rock Battersea in top condition, ensure you do not overstuff the main compartment, as this can strain the zippers over time. When cleaning the polyester exterior, wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid machine washing or tumble drying, as this can damage the internal padding and the laptop compartment structure. If you are attaching the bag to a trolley, ensure the handle of your larger luggage is fully extended before sliding the trolley strap over it. For long-term storage, keep the bag in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture buildup in the padded zones.
