The Targus Mobile Elite Large Capacity Backpack is an ideal choice for business travelers and commuters who prioritize device security and organizational efficiency. Its standout feature is the SafePort Sling protection system, which suspends your laptop to prevent impact damage, though its structured design makes it slightly heavier than minimalist daypacks.

Yes, the bag is designed to accommodate laptops up to 16 inches (40.6 cm).
The material is durable and water-resistant, but it is not fully submersible. We recommend using a rain cover in heavy downpours.
Slide the trolley strap located on the back panel over the retractable handle of your rolling luggage.
Yes, there is a dedicated tablet compartment in addition to the main laptop compartment.
The zippers are lockable, allowing you to attach your own TSA-approved padlock for added security.
Ensure the laptop is placed squarely into the SafePort Sling; adjust the sling base if it has shifted during transit.
Check the zipper track for fabric or debris; clean with a soft brush and apply a small amount of silicone lubricant if necessary.
Distribute heavier items closer to the base of the bag near the back panel to improve stability.
This backpack is compatible with laptops ranging from 15 inches to 16 inches. To ensure longevity, keep the exterior clean by wiping it down with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid abrasive chemicals that might degrade the fabric coating. When packing your laptop, ensure it is fully inserted into the SafePort Sling to engage the drop-protection mechanism. For air travel, ensure the laptop compartment is free of any metal accessories that could interfere with X-ray clarity. Periodically check the zipper tracks to ensure they are clear of debris to maintain the integrity of the locking mechanism.
