Troubleshooting
Lid does not close softly
Check the hinge mechanism for debris and ensure the lid is properly seated on the frame.
Bin slides on floor surfaces
Ensure the non-slip base is clean and free of dust or debris that might reduce its grip.
Inner bucket is stuck
Ensure the liner is not overstuffed and is properly tucked, then pull the bucket vertically using the handles.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Elegant aesthetic fits modern home decor
- Quiet soft-closing lid mechanism
- Easy to clean with removable inner bucket
- Sturdy construction with 10-year guarantee
- Compact footprint saves floor space
Cons
- 12L capacity may fill quickly in high-traffic areas

- Limited color availability depending on the specific model
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the bin is straightforward: simply remove the packaging, insert the included plastic bucket into the outer shell, and ensure the pedal mechanism is free of obstruction. To maintain the finish of the pink exterior, wipe it down regularly with a soft, damp cloth and a mild detergent; avoid abrasive scrubbers that may mar the surface. For optimal compatibility, Brabantia recommends using their specific custom-fit bin liners, which are color-coded to match the bin size, ensuring no unsightly overhang and a snug fit around the rim of the inner bucket.
