Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The watch is set by pulling out the crown to the first or second position (depending on the specific movement) and turning it to adjust the time. Ensure the crown is pushed back in fully to maintain water resistance.
Compatibility: This is a standalone timepiece; no electronic compatibility is required. The standard lug width typically accommodates most 18mm or 20mm watch straps, allowing for customization if desired.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and crystal gently with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn smudges on the crystal, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Strap Care: Clean the leather strap with a soft, damp cloth. Allow it to air dry naturally if it becomes wet. Avoid exposing leather to excessive moisture or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Water Resistance: While many watches have some level of water resistance, it is best to avoid submerging this watch. Check the specific water resistance rating if available, but always err on the side of caution, especially with leather straps.
