Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Unroll the rug upon arrival and allow it to lie flat for a few hours to settle. For indoor use on smooth flooring (like tile, laminate, or hardwood), it is strongly recommended to use an anti-slip rug underlay. This will prevent the rug from shifting and provide added safety.
Compatibility:
This rug is designed for versatility and can be used in most indoor living areas (living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, bedrooms) as well as outdoor spaces like patios, balconies, and covered verandas. It is compatible with underfloor heating systems, provided a suitable rug underlay is used.
Care Instructions:
- Regular Cleaning: Vacuum regularly using a suction-only setting (no beater bar) to remove surface dirt and dust. For the textured pile, consider vacuuming in different directions.
- Spot Cleaning: For spills, act quickly. Blot the affected area immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For liquid spills, absorb as much as possible. For tougher stains, use a mild soap and water solution, blotting gently from the outside of the stain inward. Rinse the area with a damp cloth and allow to air dry completely.
- Outdoor Use: While moisture-resistant, it's advisable to bring the rug indoors during prolonged periods of heavy rain or extreme weather to prolong its lifespan.
- Drying: Ensure the rug is completely dry after cleaning or exposure to moisture. Avoid direct heat sources for drying.
