The parka acts as an excellent windproof and waterproof outer shell. It is not insulated, so it is best used as part of a layering system over sweaters or fleece in colder temperatures.

Unlike traditional stiff waterproof shells, this jacket uses a fabric with a soft, cotton-like feel, resulting in a significantly quieter experience during movement.

The storm flap acts as a protective shield, allowing water to shed away from the back of the jacket rather than seeping into the seam or onto your clothing.

It is generally not recommended to iron waterproof membranes as high heat can damage the fabric. If creases occur, hanging the item in a steamy bathroom is a safer alternative.

The DWR coating may have worn off. Apply a technical re-proofing spray to restore the water-beading effect.

Ensure the garment is clean and free of grit. Apply a tiny amount of silicone lubricant or rub a pencil lead over the snap mechanism if stiffness persists.
