While they feature advanced cushioning, these are designed primarily as lifestyle trainers rather than technical performance running shoes.
The GEL-NYC 2.0 generally follows standard adult sizing; refer to your previous Asics sizing or measure your foot to match the UK sizing scale.
No, washing machine cycles will damage the suede material and weaken the adhesive components of the shoe.
The TRUSSTIC unit provides midfoot stability and helps prevent unwanted twisting during your stride.
Brush them after every few wears to prevent dirt from becoming embedded in the nap of the suede.
Use a dry, soft-bristled brush to gently lift dirt; avoid using water directly on the suede.
Ensure the shoes are not being used beyond their structural lifespan; if the midsole foam feels compressed permanently, it may be time for a replacement.
Remove the insole and wipe the interior base of the shoe to remove trapped dust or moisture.
These trainers are designed to be worn immediately out of the box with no complex break-in period required. For sizing, ensure you consult the specific UK sizing guide as these models are tailored to adult foot shapes. To protect the suede material, it is highly recommended to apply a suede-specific water repellent spray before the first use. Avoid exposing the shoes to excessive moisture or mud. If the shoes become dirty, use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove loose debris. For deeper cleaning, use a specialized suede cleaner and allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources to prevent the material from cracking or hardening.
