Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To install, lay the runner on your stairs, ensuring it is centered and smooth. Secure the runner using appropriate stair carpet fixings or staples, ensuring they are placed discreetly along the edges. When reversing the runner, carefully un-tack the existing fixings, flip the runner to the desired side, and then re-tack it securely in place. This process typically takes around 20 minutes.
Compatibility: This runner is designed for standard staircases and can be used both indoors and outdoors. Its slim profile makes it compatible with most standard stair nosings. It is suitable for use with underfloor heating, provided the correct fixings do not impede heat transfer. It's also pet-friendly due to its durable and hard-wearing material.
Care: Clean spills immediately with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For general maintenance, vacuum regularly. As the material is stain-resistant, most common household stains can be removed easily. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For deeper cleaning, a professional carpet cleaner specializing in polypropylene could be consulted, but routine spot cleaning is usually sufficient.
