The Regatta Frankie Borg fleece is an ideal choice for women seeking a cosy, casual midlayer for everyday use in cool weather. Crafted from soft, warm borg fleece, this garment excels at providing effortless insulation during commutes or weekend outings, though its relaxed aesthetic and material choice make it less suitable for high-intensity technical hiking where moisture-wicking properties are prioritized.

No, the Frankie Borg fleece is made from polyester and does not have a waterproof coating. It should be layered under a waterproof jacket in wet weather.
Machine wash on a cool cycle. Do not bleach or iron, and avoid tumble drying if possible to preserve the fleece texture.
The garment is designed with a relaxed fit to allow for layering, so it should fit true to your standard size.
While it provides warmth, its bulkier profile may be less ideal for technical sports compared to dedicated moisture-wicking base layers.
The garment is made from high-quality polyester, specifically designed in a borg fleece construction for insulation.
Avoid using harsh detergents and skip fabric softeners. Tumble drying on a very low, gentle setting can sometimes help fluff up the fibers.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the zipper track. If it remains stiff, a small amount of graphite from a pencil tip applied to the teeth can act as a dry lubricant.
Because this is a pull-over garment, compatibility is straightforward. For optimal layering, pair this with a thin, breathable base layer to manage body moisture, as the borg fleece is designed primarily for heat retention. To maintain the plush texture of the material, wash on a cool setting with similar colours. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can degrade the performance and feel of the fleece fibers. Always air dry the garment flat to prevent the material from losing its shape or developing unwanted stretch marks on the hanger.
