Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To set up your Bathsafe Sector Rubber Corner Shower Mat, first ensure the shower floor or bathtub surface is clean and free from soap scum or residue. Lay the mat flat and press down firmly to engage all suction cups. Ensure all suction cups are adhered to the surface before use.
Initial Creases/Smell: If the mat arrives with creases or a slight plastic smell, we recommend washing it with a gentle cleaner and hot water. After washing, allow it to air dry completely, preferably in a well-ventilated area. This process will help smooth out any creases and dissipate the initial odor.
Compatibility: This mat is specifically designed for corner shower stalls or quadrant bathtubs. It adheres best to smooth, non-porous surfaces. It may not be suitable for textured or uneven surfaces.
Care: For best results and longevity, clean the mat regularly. Rinse after each use to remove excess soap. For deeper cleaning, machine wash the mat on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry on low heat or air dry. Ensure the mat is completely dry before placing it back in the shower to prevent mold growth underneath.
