Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Birkenstock Arizona sandals last for years, proper care is essential:
- Fitting: Adjust the straps while standing. You should be able to slide a finger between your foot and the strap to ensure they are not too tight.
- Break-in: Wear them for short durations in the first week to allow the leather and cork to soften.
- Leather Care: Use a clean, dry cloth to remove dirt. If the leather becomes dry, apply a mild leather conditioner.
- Cork Protection: If the edge of the cork becomes dull or dry, you can apply a thin layer of cork sealer to prevent it from crumbling.
- Avoid Moisture: Keep your sandals away from extreme heat sources like radiators and avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain to preserve the integrity of the cork.
