Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your wetsuit maintains its performance and elasticity over time, follow these care instructions:
- Rinsing: Always rinse the suit thoroughly with fresh, cold water after every use to remove salt, chlorine, and organic residue.
- Drying: Hang the suit on a wide, non-metallic hanger in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight, as UV rays can degrade the rubber over time.
- Storage: Store the suit flat or on a thick hanger to prevent creases. Avoid folding it tightly for extended periods.
- Maintenance: Periodically check the PK plastic zipper for sand build-up. If the zipper feels stiff, use a silicone-based zipper lubricant to restore smooth movement.
- Entry: Use the Glideskin entry system carefully to avoid pulling too hard on the neck aperture, which ensures the seal remains intact.
