High performance all purpose self-countersinking screw for fast accurate driving into softwood, chipboard and most hardwood. Features 2 patented slots to prevent splitting close to the edge and ribs & tucks to enable flush fitting without surface damage. The waxed thread and zinc and yellow passivated coating offer up to 20x more rust resistance than standard BZP screws. The 20-degree needle point penetrates most timbers without a pilot hole, and the wide, deep thread reduces driving resistance by up to 40%, requiring less torque for faster completion. The reinforced collar prevents snapping and provides depth.
