FAQs

Are these shoes true to size?

Most users find the Air Max 90 fits true to size, though the leather upper can feel slightly snug initially.

Can I use these for running?

While they feature Air cushioning, they are considered lifestyle shoes and are not recommended for long-distance or high-intensity running.

How do I keep the white parts from yellowing?

Keep the shoes out of direct sunlight when not in use and store them in a cool, dark environment.

Is the leather upper waterproof?

The leather is water-resistant to a degree but not fully waterproof. It is best to avoid heavy rain or puddles to protect the material.

Can I replace the insoles?

Yes, the stock insoles can be removed and replaced with custom orthotics or third-party insoles if needed.

Troubleshooting

Creasing in the toe box area

This is a natural occurrence with leather trainers. Use shoe trees when not in use to help maintain the original shape.

Difficulty cleaning scuffs on the white leather

Use a specialized leather cleaner or a white eraser for minor scuffs on the leather surface.

Squeaking sound while walking

Remove the insole and sprinkle a small amount of talcum powder underneath, then replace the insole.

Pros and Cons

Leather material may require a break-in period
Not intended for high-intensity technical sports

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Air Max 90 trainers remain in top condition, follow these care steps:

Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dirt from the outsole. For the leather upper, use a damp cloth with mild soap and gently wipe the surface. Avoid submerging the shoes in water.
Drying: Air dry the shoes at room temperature away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can crack or warp the leather.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place to prevent yellowing of the white materials.
Compatibility: These trainers feature a standard lacing system. They are best paired with casual socks; avoid thick wool hiking socks to prevent tightness around the forefoot.
