FAQs
Can I use these on artificial grass?
These boots are designed primarily for firm natural ground. Using them on artificial grass can cause premature wear to the studs and plate.
How should I clean my F50 boots?
Wipe with a damp cloth after every use and let them air dry. Do not machine wash or submerge them in water.
Are these boots suitable for wide feet?
The F50 series features a regular fit; if you have particularly wide feet, you may find the minimalist construction quite snug.
What is the weight of these boots?
Each boot weighs approximately 144 grams, contributing to a lightweight, speed-focused experience.
Do the studs need replacing?
The F50 Speedsystem uses fixed molded TPU studs, which are not replaceable. Ensure they are kept free of debris to maintain grip.
Troubleshooting
Boots feel slippery on wet grass
These are designed for firm ground; ensure the pitch is dry or only slightly damp, as the studs are optimized for firm soil rather than soft, muddy terrain.
Build-up of dirt in the stud pattern
Use a specialized boot cleaning brush or a soft-bristled toothbrush to clear debris from around the base of the studs after every match.
Laces coming loose during play
Use a double knot to secure the laces, as the lightweight synthetic material of the upper is smooth and may cause standard knots to loosen during high-intensity movement.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Extremely lightweight design improves player fatigue management
- Excellent ball touch thanks to the flexible Haloskin upper
- High-traction stud configuration for firm ground agility
- Secure lace-up fit prevents foot sliding during intense play
Cons
- Material is thin, which may be prone to wear if not cleaned regularly
- Not suitable for artificial grass or muddy surfaces
- Minimalist design offers less impact protection than heavier boots
Setup, Compatibility & Care
For the best fit, ensure the laces are tightened firmly before play to lock the midfoot in place. These boots are intended for firm ground (FG) surfaces and should not be used on concrete or excessive mud, as this can degrade the TPU plate and studs. After each use, remove any mud or debris from the upper using a soft brush and wipe the surface with a damp cloth. Allow the boots to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can warp the materials and compromise the adhesive bonds.
