Full details

The VEVOR 3-panel Japanese-style room divider is an ideal solution for homeowners, office managers, or restaurant owners seeking an elegant way to partition space and increase privacy without permanent construction. FAQs

Does this product require any tools for assembly?

No, the room divider comes fully assembled and is ready for use as soon as you remove it from the packaging.

Can I see through the fabric panels?

The non-woven fabric is designed to be semi-transparent, offering privacy by obscuring details while still allowing light to pass through.

Can the divider stand in a straight line?

It is recommended to place the divider in a zigzag or 'Z' shape, as a perfectly flat, straight line will be unstable and likely to tip over.

Is this suitable for use in a restaurant?

Yes, it is excellent for creating private dining zones or partitioning areas in commercial settings.

How much does the unit weigh?

The divider is crafted from lightweight solid wood and fabric, making it easy for most adults to lift and move between rooms.

Troubleshooting

The screen feels unstable or tips over.

Adjust the angle of the panels into a 'Z' or 'U' shape to create a wider base footprint.

Hinges feel stiff after storage.

Gently move the hinges back and forth several times to loosen them; ensure no debris is stuck in the hinge joints.

The fabric looks wrinkled.

The fabric will naturally tauten over time, but you can use a garment steamer on a very low setting from a distance to safely smooth out stubborn creases.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Ready to use immediately with no assembly required
Highly flexible folding hinges for diverse layouts
Lightweight and easy to move between rooms
Classic design fits various decor styles
Provides effective visual separation while allowing airflow

Cons

Non-woven fabric does not provide complete soundproofing
Fabric panels are translucent and will not block 100% of light
Not intended for heavy-duty outdoor use in high winds
Stability depends on the angle of the panels when unfolded

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup is effortless as the product arrives fully assembled. To deploy, simply expand the panels to your desired width and position them in a slightly zigzag pattern to ensure the unit stands firmly on its own. For compatibility, ensure you have a level floor surface, as significant unevenness may cause the panels to lean. To clean, use a soft, dry cloth or a gentle duster to wipe down the wooden frame. The fabric panels should be handled with care; light vacuuming with a brush attachment or spot cleaning with a slightly damp cloth is recommended if dust accumulates over time. Always fold the divider completely flat when not in use to maximize the lifespan of the hinges.
