They feature a water-resistant finish designed to handle rainy conditions, though they are not fully waterproof or designed for deep submersion.
The footbed is designed for long-lasting comfort, but if you require specific orthotics, you can generally remove the existing footbed and replace it with your own inserts.
Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using shoe trees can help maintain the shape of the leather over time.
As with most leather footwear, the material will slightly soften and mold to your foot shape after a few wears.
Allow the mud to dry completely, then gently brush it off with a soft-bristled brush. Wipe with a damp cloth if necessary.
These boots are intended for everyday commuting and casual wear; they are not designed for technical hiking or rugged wilderness trails.
Use a shoehorn to help guide your heel into the boot without collapsing the rear structure.
Apply a high-quality leather conditioner to restore moisture and shine to the material.
Wipe the outsole with a damp cloth to remove built-up debris or grit that can hinder the rubber tread.
As a pull-on boot, no lacing is required; ensure you wear appropriate socks to allow for easy entry. Because the upper is genuine leather, it is recommended to clean the boots using a soft brush to remove dirt after outdoor use. To maintain the water-resistant properties, apply a leather-specific protector spray every few months. Avoid submerging the boots in water or using harsh chemical cleaners, as this can degrade the leather and the treatment finish.
