FAQs
What type of runner is the Saucony Endorphin Azura for?
These trainers are ideal for adult female runners with a neutral gait who are looking for a cushioned and responsive shoe for daily training runs on asphalt.
Does the shoe have a carbon plate?
No, the Endorphin Azura is designed to offer a super foam experience without a plate, focusing on a smooth and bouncy ride.
What is the primary benefit of the SpeedRoll technology?
SpeedRoll technology promotes faster transitions and a constant rolling sensation from heel to toe, enhancing running efficiency.
How much do the Saucony Endorphin Azura trainers weigh?
They are very lightweight, weighing approximately 212 grams.
What is the heel-to-toe drop?
The shoe has an 8mm drop, with a heel height of 40mm and a forefoot height of 32mm.
Can these shoes be used for racing?
While they offer responsiveness, they are primarily designed for daily training. For maximum speed in races, runners might consider plated shoes, but these are excellent for tempo runs and versatile training.
What surfaces are these shoes best suited for?
They are designed for use on asphalt (roads and paved surfaces).
Troubleshooting
Unusual noise from shoes during run
Check for any debris lodged in the outsole grooves. Ensure laces are tied correctly and not rubbing excessively.
Reduced cushioning or responsiveness over time
While designed for durability, foam cushioning naturally degrades with extensive use. Consider replacing the shoes after accumulating significant mileage (typically 300-500 miles).
Slight discomfort or rubbing
Ensure the shoes are laced properly, not too tight or too loose. Try different lacing techniques. If discomfort persists, the shoe's neutral design might not suit your gait, or the size may be incorrect. Verify correct UK sizing.

Cons

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These are ready to wear straight out of the box. Ensure you have the correct size for optimal comfort and performance.
Compatibility: Designed as a neutral trainer, they are best suited for runners with a neutral pronation. They are intended for use on asphalt surfaces.
Care:
- Cleaning: After runs, brush off loose dirt. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth or a soft brush with mild soap and cold water. Avoid machine washing or drying, as this can damage the materials.
- Drying: Allow the shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
